The Studio
These ideas are not always developed in the studio; often, they are small exercises recorded on the phone with almost no resources. However, when I am in the studio, I have other tools that allow me to get closer to what I am imagining at the moment. Here is a small time-constrained exercise, with footage showing how they are often born.
It's strange or even surreal, yet so familiar, to see myself composing as if from an out-of-body perspective. I know the timbres of each instrument scattered around the studio so well and they can be reinvented, offering endless possibilities.

Over the years, leading the AIM SOUND & MUSIC sound department has been an immense privilege. Being surrounded by incredibly talented creatives of all ages in such a dynamic environment has been a constant source of inspiration. Over the course of a decade, this space has introduced me to countless challenges that have significantly contributed to my growth as a professional. It’s a privilege to go to work every day!

I invite you to visit our website and explore our work. Animation is a delicate art that requires absolute commitment and dedication over time, which is reflected in the craftsmanship of each animator. This is one of the reasons I love working with them. Our work provides a space where I can develop surreal movements and landscapes, allowing me to expand in unique ways.

A Claraboia, opens in a new tab
As a musician, composer I felt the need to meet more musicians. I founded A Claraboia in 2018 to promote communication and collaboration within the musical community. At A Claraboia, I invite musicians to improvise and explore their artistic identities in an environment that encourages intimate and spontaneous musical expression.

Sessões Livres
Musicians develop an intimate relationship with their instruments, often sharing hours of solitude with them. With Indefinite duration, this intimacy is what I aim to capture in these sessions. Visit A Claraboia to listen to the various recorded sessions from this project and learn more about the musicians who have participated.
Oficinas Musicais
"Oficinas Musicais" are Music Workshops where the objective is to extract the artistic personality of an individual or a group. No musical training is required, just the will to participate. In this Music Workshop, you can learn, experiment with instruments, compose, and record your music.
Sombras
When interacting with someone, we adapt our speech and even posture to the other's presence based on what they represent to us. And these unconscious processes also happen in music. When a musician plays with another, he inevitably adapts his musical expression to the other's figure. As in a conversation, this is not always positive, and can hide beautiful truths and manifestos of freedom. To break this barrier, I set up a project where musicians improvise with a curtain separating them. First, they meet musically, and only then in person.
For those who have never tried, playing an instrument can be an intimate moment. Sharing this intimacy is fragile and often involves being more attentive to the other than to ourselves. It is also learning about yourself with someone in real-time. I am looking forward to and invite you to "Sombras/Shadows."
